baby's room

we've started talking about how to decorate and furnish the baby's room. we recently re-painted the cream colored trim & doors WHITE. the room has green walls & ceiling (it's a good green) with trim & doors. there are four windows, 2 doors, and tall baseboards so there's plenty of white to break up the green - and it turned out great.

while we were in the woodlands, we went to a baby's 1st furniture store and looked at cribs. we both like the sleigh bed style. we're debating on whether or not to use the antique dresser that's currently in the room. we like the dresser - using it would save money - on the other hand, we'd rather go with a dark color. the dresser has been refinished in honey oak -

currently, the room contains a full-size iron bed. we like the idea of having a bed in the room but we're going to downsize to a twin. this is another piece of furniture we have to match --

(holly is tired of hodge podges of furniture!)

another challege is not knowing whether to prepare for a newborn or a 1 yr old.
