tiara scored .. oh about 16 points tonight .. and she brought home a progress report with all As. i'm so proud! she's earned house phone privileges back and will be getting freestyle braids on the 6th.
shae is so funny. today she was playing with her dollhouse and quoting phrases from phineas and ferb.
layla has been much better lately. as long as she's not hungry (which is often) or thinks i'm about to leave her, she plays quietly. she's my little tornado, though, leaves huge messes behind!
as for layla's language skills, she:
signs and says "eat"
signs and says "hi"
signs and says "dog"
signs and says "star"
signs and says "ball"
signs and says "pig"
signs and says "apple"
signs and says "more"
shakes her head and says "nooooo"
nods her head yes, although i'm not sure she knows what yes means
blows kisses
says mama, shae, tata, paw paw, boobah, nanny, happy
signs mouse, elephant, giraffe, cow, cat, shoes, please, thank you, milk, monkey, gorilla, rhinoceros, chicken, duck, car
she knows a lot more signs than i know she knows. she tries to sign things all the time that i just don't recognize yet. she loves the signing shows!
