we've been busy! pics have gotten harder to post through photobucket - crazy, you'd think they'd be making things easier. i'm experimenting with a slideshow.. we'll see how it turns out. so, pics in the slideshow: trip to the zoo with amber, davis & drew. you'll notice shae is big enough to sit on top of the elephant now! the next set is from our trip to new b. for memorial day weekend. shae had a blast running wild with all the kids - especially her BFF, kaylyn. tiara spent hours on the golf cart chauffeuring them all around. we spent sunday morning playing put put and swimming at sliver leaf. last tuesday, shae got all dressed up to go out to dinner with uncle brad and aunt norla. she was too cute, posing for lori outside. she had fun "saying cheese outside." next up, last week we went our first tike hike at the baytown nature center. i was impressed. there was a quick story time and then the kids did a scavenger hunt and a treasure hunt. one thing we had to find was an alligator :-) afterward, we went to the pet store so the kids could manhandle the animals. i say kids but lesley dropped a gerbil and it almost got away. shae and i fell in love with the dwarf bunnies... last friday was tiara's 13th birthday. rocki spent the weekend with us.. saturday, we took tiara, rocki, bianca and ray ray to kemah. we had lunch at the aquarium and then the kids spent a few hours on the rides. shae and davis tore up the bouncer. the last two pics are of caterpillar chuck. we found him last week. he's eating us out of house and home... well, at least he's putting a dent in one of my potted trees on the back patio. i have to cut branches every day.. the hungry caterpillar book is not an exaggeration! we're hoping to keep him alive to see his transformation.
