more shae funnies..

saturday, shae went down for a nap at noon. she proceeded to poop in her pull-up, take it off, spill it.. and get it all over the bed.

later that afternoon, we went to allison's birthday party at the bowling alley. we weren't planning on bowling but she got all excited when she saw the balls rolling down the lanes. so, we checked her out a pair of bowling shoes. i helped her roll the ball, she squealed and took off down the lane after it. i said, "Shae, NO!" but she didn't stop. what do i do? i run after her. about that time, she slips and falls flat on her back and then i slipped and fell flat on mine. lori wasn't there to see it.. but she laughed at me and said, "don't you know they oil the lanes?" uh, no. i'm not a bowling connoisseur! i've certainly never walked or tried to walk down a lane. it's too bad no one caught that on video as i'm sure it could have been a finalist.

yesterday, at wal-mart. shae and i are self-checking-out. she's sitting in the back of the cart. i hear the man behind me say, "be careful, i think you've already paid for some of that." i look up to see shae pulling things out of the bags and putting them back on the line. i tell her to stop but she chooses to ignore me. so i'm scanning, bagging .. rebagging .. trying to hurry .. and then she decides to pee all over the floor. great. so, i manage to finish scanning and pay. ask the attendant for some paper towels and receive the most unobsorbent paper towels ever created. do my best to clean up. figured well, she doesn't have to go to the bathroom so i just changed her at the car.

last night, she was playing on her climbing toy in the backyard. she was climbing down the side she usually climbs up. learning something new. about her fourth time, she looks up and tells us, "i struggle-en."

since i'm on the subject of her vocabulary, she's starting to add d's to the end of words: " all done-d," "mine-d."
